That train is never late… New Year, New Me! Yes, I’m on that! The new year encourages a fresh start. We can start over any day but something about round out the end of the year makes us feel like we have a clean slate and I’m here for it. I’ve been struggling to get back to my pre-baby weight from both Harper and Peyton. That may never happen but I’m still determined to be in the best shape for ME and fit back in to the clothes in my closet.

Every year around this time, I start to reflect on my year. I ask myself, did I crush my goals? What will my new goals be? A few goals always remain at the top of my list: getting fit and taking care of my skin. I know, I say that every year and I genuinely work on them every year. I may not be at my goal size but what if that wasn’t one of my goals? What if I didn’t try at all? I’d probably be 20 or 50 pounds heavier. No, Ma’am. I’m happy to share with you guys how I plan on crushing these goals by stepping up my fitness game using Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant and skincare tips from Dove dermatologist, Dr. Alicia Barba.

Since it Mother’s Day weekend I thought I would update you on my weight loss progress since most of us moms (women in general) struggle with trying to lose weight. It’s been a while since my last
breakdown update. The last time I shared about my weight loss struggle I was battle the thoughts of giving up. I’m glad I didn’t. Here are a few before and progress photos. I’m not going to use the term after because I’m not done. This is a lifestyle for me and always will be. In addition to the progress photos, I also wanted to share what has been helping me on this journey.
I wanted to give you guys a progress update on my weight loss. I ALMOST threw in the towel this week after two months of trying to achieve my weight loss goals. This week the devil has been busy trying to get me to quit. After a few weeks of not seeing any movement on the scale and then being sick, I was discouraged. I kept thinking to myself, it would be so much easier to just let it go and buy new clothes. I was doing all this work and nothing was changing. What was the point?
I wanted to check in with my fitness and weight loss update. So far I’m down 9 pounds since January 2nd! *Hits the Dougie* I can’t believe it! It hasn’t been easy. I’ve been hitting the gym 3 to 4 times a week and spending a lot of time prepping my meals. It’s so worth it! I still have another 15 pounds I would like to shed. We’re closing out the first month of the year and some of your are ready to ditch your weight loss goals. I wanted to share with you a few things that give me a reset button for staying in the weight loss game.
