Early on in my blogging career, I didn’t find a lot of families that looked like mine. I knew I had to create a blog that I wanted to read. I decided to be an unapologetic black mother and share my life. I share recipes, home decor, the relationship with my husband, weaves and natural hair. This is me and my black family.
This summer is flying by! Because of my crazy Dr. Miracle’s Tour schedule, I only have Mon-Thursday to get everything done. Peyton is still in gymnastics and Harper started a dance class, so we’re pretty busy. We’re doing our best to enjoy the few days a week that we’re not ripping and running. I hope you all had a fabulous Easter (I know, I’m late) and spring break. We are just getting back from Savannah and Tybee Island for our spring break. I didn’t realize Savannah was such a good eating town. Everything was sooooo good and I ate all the things! I’ll share more about our trip early next week. I wanted to share what we wore in Savannah on Easter Sunday… almost a week later.

It seems as though it will be sticking around little longer so we’re going to make the best of it in our winter white (faux) furs.
I hope you all had a great weekend! After being “snowed in” for almost a week, Atlanta finally thawed out. Peyton only went to school once last week. Even Mister was home for a few days. The week totally threw me off track. I’m not looking forward getting up early, but kind of looking forward to getting back to my routine. Another routine that I’m excited to get back to, Mommy and Me looks! Our first look of the year in all black is giving me black excellence vibes. Continue Reading
