It’s officially summer and we kicked it off in Chicago with family. I came to Chicago to host a Dr. Miracle’s event this past Saturday but decided to make it a family trip with the girls. The first couple of the weather did not cooperate. It may have been cold and rainy in Chicago but Harper brought the fire in this shoot with her adorable romper.

June is National Safety Month. Having active kids makes you think more about keeping them safe. I think more about “what ifs” for all situations. I’ve been doing my best to teach the kids the importance of safety even when I’m not around. I’m happy to be partnering with COUNTRY Financial to share a few tips to encourage kids to stay safe.

School is out for summer! I turned off my 6 am alarm with the quickness after I put Peyton on that bus on her last day. Now we’re just waiting on this rainy season in Georgia to pass so we can have some fun in the sun. My girls are very active so they love nothing more than to play at the park or head to the pool. While summer break is a time for Harper to play hard, I also need to stay on top of her baby skin care routine. Warm weather brings on a whole new set of risks for Harper’s skin. Exposure to sunrays, bug bites, and extra baths. Dove has always supported women with great skincare products so I was excited about the launch of their Baby Dove collection last year. Harper’s baby skin still needs extra care, especially in the summer.
Hey guys! I’ll be in the Chicago area this Saturday with Dr. Miracle’s at Walmart in Evergreen Park from 11-2pm.
I’ll be there talking about Dr. Miracle’s products can help you maintain healthy hair while wearing protective styles. I’ll also have some great baskets and gift card giveaways. I love meeting everyone that supports me and my family! See you soon!
This summer is flying by! Because of my crazy Dr. Miracle’s Tour schedule, I only have Mon-Thursday to get everything done. Peyton is still in gymnastics and Harper started a dance class, so we’re pretty busy. We’re doing our best to enjoy the few days a week that we’re not ripping and running. We finally had time to take these “old school” pics that give me Summertime Chi vibes. Links to everything below. Hope you enjoy them!
