It’s not often that Peyton’s room is photo worthy but once my items from Mouse + Magpie arrived, I was motived to bring her room back to life. Mouse + Magpie is a carefully curated decor and furnishing company for kids with big imaginations. Mouse + Magpie collections consist of artwork, throw pillows, lamps, clocks and sherpa blankets. Peyton has a big personality and the only thing that is bigger than her personality is her imagination. Peyton sees everything as an adventure ready to explore. I’m happy that her room now reflects her big imagination and encourages her to dream big. Mouse + Magpie has been so kind to allow me to give away a few items to one lucky reader. Growing up, having a box of cereal in the cabinet was a must. My mom worked a lot so my go to meal was always cereal. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, If I was hungry I would make me a bowl of Cheerios, with or without milk. I also remember waking up on Saturday mornings and making myself a big bowl of cereal and watching cartoons. I probably remember it mainly because it was my only chance at watching cartoons for the week (Yes, I’m that old). Even though my girls can watch cartoons and videos on demand, I love when Peyton take the initiative to shares her Cheerios with her baby sister. With the help of Cheerios my girls can share a special moment with family near and far and so can you. Keep reading for details.
In fashion, there shouldn’t be any rules. However, there were I few rules I went by. One of them was no wearing white after Labor Day and before Memorial Day. I still shy away from wearing white after Labor Day. I think the problem for me is finding the right kind of white. You won’t catch me rocking a linen suit in November but I will rock a mean winter white dress. Now that Memorial Day is behind us, the all white parties are in full swing! If I get an invite, this is what I’m wearing.
Summertime wardrobes should be cute, effortless and affordable. I’ve noticed some friends talking about getting their kids wardrobes together for the summer on a budget. Most of us are in the same boat because before you know it, we’ll be spending our coins for back to school clothes. Keep reading for my tips and favorite places to shop for my kids’ everyday summer attire.
Happy June! Peyton’s out of school and summer break has officially kicked off. Our summer calendar is already filling up with events, picnics and play dates. I’ve shared several beautiful pieces HERE but as moms, we still need cute kid friendly casual outfits on deck. I never thought I would be saying this but my new fashion jam is Bermuda shorts and this versatile dress.
