This post is brought to you by Simple Sugars and The Motherhood. Simple Sugars does not make any claims about the benefits or potential benefits their scrubs may have for those with a medical condition like eczema or psoriasis since their products have not been studied in randomized clinical trials for the treatment of these conditions. I am sharing my personal and families experience. Thoughts and opinions are my own.
I’ve been blessed with to not have to deal with eczema or any other medical condition dealing with my skin. I still appreciate good and effective skincare products because there are still areas that could use improvement. I may have resilient skin but Mister and Peyton both deal with eczema. I’m always on the lookout for a skincare product that will treat their skin that we all can use. I was recently introduced to Simple Sugars, an all natural skincare line formulated for sensitive skin. Keep reading to see how Simple Sugars cleared up Peyton’s eczema in just 3 days!
Simple Sugars was founded by lifelong eczema sufferer, Lani Lazzari. After being beyond frustrated with the lack of effective solutions, she took matters into her own hands and created Simple Sugars. In 2013 Lani Lazzari took Simple Sugars on Shark Tank and landed investor Mark Cuban and is now changing the lives of people with sensitive skin.
Simple Sugars is more than a sugar scrub. They are an all-natural skincare line, specially formulated for people with sensitive skin. Simple Sugars facial scrubs, body scrubs and foot scrubs cleanse, gently exfoliate and thoroughly moisturize in one easy step so you never need lotion. I’ve been using the strawberry body scrub on my legs in the shower and they were left smooth, moisturized and no lotion was needed. Did I meantion they smell divine!
Strawberry and Green Tea facial scrub.
Simple Sugars facial scrubs are gentle enough that you can use daily. Since I’ve been working out more, I wash my face multiple times a day. Using Simple Sugars facial scrub after a workout exfoliates my face and moisturizes in one step. There’s no need to apply moisturizer after.
Simple Sugars also offers a men’s scrub. My husband doesn’t usually get excited about products I offer him, but when it comes to dealing with his eczema, he’s all over it. His eczema visible on his chin and neck so he can be a little self-conscious about it. He started using the Simple Sugars Smooth for Men scrub before I could get photos but it has dramatically reduced the appearance of his eczema. He also doesn’t have to apply any lotion or moisturizers after using it.
When I agreed to review Simple Sugars I was only intending to use it for Mister and myself. Because the Simple Sugars ingredients are all natural, I decided to try it on Peyton’s eczema on her lower back. I was able to capture before and after images of her to show you how well it works.
I was shocked to see these results just after 3 days of using the Simple Sugars strawberry scrub. One of the 3 days I did use my strawberry facial scrub with emu oil (learn about emu oil here). These photos have not been touched up, lighten or darken. I took these photos by the same window but it happens that it was raining one day so the lighting is a little different. I know her eczema is still a little visible but I’m still pretty impressed with the changes that happened so quickly after years of trying different products that didn’t work. Peyton’s itching has stopped and the patches are barely visible. I have no doubt that it will be completely gone before bathing suit season.
I’ve never been so excited to share a product with you guys. I know so many mothers’ that have to deal with their children’s eczema. Simple Sugars is the truth! I’m amazed at the quick results. If you decide to try it on your child, I would recommend starting with a small area first. Simple Sugars is all natural so I couldn’t imagine having any issues.
