As much as I love to try new products, it can be hard to find ones you trust. There are only a few products that I use that I would also use on my girls. Sometimes you just have to go back to the basics with pure and clean products like Ivory Soap. I thought I would remind you why Ivory is a gentle and pure choice for your entire family! Now through the end of the month (June 30), you can stock up on Ivory 21 oz. Body Wash (Original and Aloe) and Ivory 8-Bar Original Soap at Family Dollar at a reduced price.

Summer 17′ is officially in full swing. If you’ve been hiding those gambs all winter, it’s time to bring them out. There was a time in my life when I hated summer because I was so insecure about showing my legs. My tomboy legs were crooked (bow) and full of scars. All the other little girls had pretty smooth legs. By the time I reached high school, I finally embraced my legs. Now they’re my favorite body part. I wanted to share with you how Vaseline along with a few simple tips, keep my legs looking radiant all summer long.
It’s not often that Peyton’s room is photo worthy but once my items from Mouse + Magpie arrived, I was motived to bring her room back to life. Mouse + Magpie is a carefully curated decor and furnishing company for kids with big imaginations. Mouse + Magpie collections consist of artwork, throw pillows, lamps, clocks and sherpa blankets. Peyton has a big personality and the only thing that is bigger than her personality is her imagination. Peyton sees everything as an adventure ready to explore. I’m happy that her room now reflects her big imagination and encourages her to dream big. Mouse + Magpie has been so kind to allow me to give away a few items to one lucky reader. Keep reading for giveaway details and more photos of Peyton’s room update.

We’ve all heard the term, black don’t crack. That can be true if you take care of your skin. My mom is almost 80 years old and still doesn’t have any wrinkles. She’s always taken care of her skin. She taught me well. Now that I’m heading around that corner to my 40’s, I’ve been paying more attention to my skin. In an effort to keep my skin looking young and healthy, I participated in Olay’s 28 Day Skin Study and started a new nighttime beauty routine.

When Harper was a newborn I noticed that she had a lot of dry and flaking skin on her forehead. I just figured it was dry and added some ointment. On Harper’s next doctor’s visit, I brought it up. After examination, the doctor discovered that Harper had craddle cap. With all of Harper’s hair, how would I have ever known? The doctor suggested that I use dandruff shampoo to help soothe the dryness on her scalp. I was so nervous to use adult products on my new baby. I was surprised there weren’t any child-friendly products easily assessable for children with sensitive scalps. I’m happy to share that one of my favorite children’s hair care brands, SoCozy, recently launched their sensitive skin collection Hush at Target. The Hush collection is dermatologist and allergy tested to treat sensitive scalp.
