I’m still on a high from the Dr. Miracle’s Feelin Myself Weekend during the ATL stop for OTRII just a couple of weeks ago. Dr. Miracle’s pulled out all the stops for 3 lucky winners and their guests for an action-packed Bey & Jay weekend. During that weekend I had the opportunity to host an amazing conversation over a VIP dinner by Chef Shaw Osbey. We talked about our healthy hair journeys as well as self-care. I wanted to continue the healthy hair conversation online and share my favorite Dr. Miracle’s products as well as new additions to their collection. Check out what’s in my bag.
It has taken over two years and I’m just now getting comfortable with wash day routine for Harper. I have Peyton’s hair down because hers is similar to mine. Harper’s thick hair has thrown me for a loop! I quickly learned no two heads of hair are alike. Harper’s hair is totally different from Peyton’s hair. Peyton’s hair is soft, curly and easy to detangle. Harper’s hair is thick, kinky and long. The products that I use for Peyton do not work the same for Harper’s little head (but big hair). I’m happy to share with you guys that I’ve cut the detangling time in half thanks to my new Q-Redew Handheld Hair Steamer. Watch the video below to see how the Q-Redew works on Harper’s hair and coupon code.

School is out for summer! I turned off my 6 am alarm with the quickness after I put Peyton on that bus on her last day. Now we’re just waiting on this rainy season in Georgia to pass so we can have some fun in the sun. My girls are very active so they love nothing more than to play at the park or head to the pool. While summer break is a time for Harper to play hard, I also need to stay on top of her baby skin care routine. Warm weather brings on a whole new set of risks for Harper’s skin. Exposure to sunrays, bug bites, and extra baths. Dove has always supported women with great skincare products so I was excited about the launch of their Baby Dove collection last year. Harper’s baby skin still needs extra care, especially in the summer.

Summer break will be here soon! Entertaining both girls all day can be a lot of work but I’m looking forward to not having to wake up at the crack of dawn. It’s also a time to plan some fun play dates with my mom friends. Since my mom friends are tired like a mother like me, I’ll be serving a new summertime treat, Dunkin’ Donuts Cold Brew. As a refreshing pick me up, Dunkin’ Donuts Cold Brew is perfect for a warm day. Available at Walmart, I’m going to show you how easy it is to make a pitcher of Dunkin’ Donuts Cold Brew.
It’s been a while since I shared my beauty routines. My skin has been LIT lately and I’ve been getting a lot of complements (Thank You!). I usally share product reviews here and there but I thought it was well over due for me to share my current routine. Here you go!
