The second half of the year is going to be a busy one for me. Late summer and fall have been full of celebrations and birthdays Mister and Peyton in July, Harper in September and myself in October. Then add in back to school hustle and bustle. Outside of the birthdays, what I’m most looking forward too are the Atlanta music festivals. Up until the recent years (or they could have just started) I didn’t realize there were so many good ones. It’s like I can have my mini Cochella right here in Hotlanta. I found this cute festival ready romper at Bohemia, a small boutique in Atlanta.
I’m so excited to share a fun video with my family that I did with Essence in partnership with Walmart. We all try to make an effort to eat fresh fruits and veggies daily but it can be tough. Walmart makes it easy and convenient to get all the household items you need as well as fresh vegetables and meat in one stop. Check out the video below.
We had a successful and busy first week of school. Peyton started 2nd grade and she also moved up another level in gymnastics. She practices 3 nights a week. I don’t know how this little girl does it because I’m tired just taking her back and forth. In case you missed it, you can check out what Peyton wore the first day of school and her back to school shopping spree HERE. Now that school is in session, I’m gearing up to take a much needed momcation. I plan on letting it all hang out. When I say hang out, I mean in an age appropriate way. I plan on showing lots of legs in outfits like these jean shorts and Lango Wrap blouse from Suakoko Betty.
I’ve been hustling hard to get Peyton ready back to school. I’ve been cleaning out drawers and closets, shopping, stocking the fridge, hair, and nails. I can’t believe that it takes so much work to get them ready. Before the madness begins, I wanted to share my new back to school outfit with you. This is my outfit for the bus stop, dropping off items at school and mainly every day in general. I always say, when you want to be comfortable but want to look put together, cute workout clothes always does the trick. When in doubt, work it out.

I love sharing. I guess that’s why I’m a blogger. I love sharing my daughters’ style, recipes, décor and product reviews. In addition to that, I’ve shared a lot of personal things. Over the years I’ve shared personal stories both good and bad. Sometimes I think I share too much. I do it in hopes that it can help someone. I’ve talked openly about LBL (light bladder leakage) on the blog before and I will keep talking about it until it is not taboo. I wanted to share how you can seize your Poise moment with their new product, Impressa.
