FINALLY! Decorating my living room has been on my vision board for the last two years. I’m so happy it’s finally done and I love it! My old living room wasn’t the worse but it was just there, made up of items that I’ve picked up over the years. The first home that I purchased by myself at 26 was decorated to the nines. I was happy to host parties and showers for my friends because it was so nice. I handpicked furniture and decor just for this space. I basically kept those same items and made it fit into my next homes. We purchased our current home about 3 years ago. I love this house and I plan to be here for a while so I’ve been slowly trying to make each space in this house our own. My design style is Boho Traditional. I have a traditional home but I wanted to add a little Boho/Global flair to our space. With a small budget, I took the time to decorate my living room in my style and I’m so happy with how it turned out.

It’s the best sale of the year! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Early access for the sale started today (must be a cardholder to shop now). I look forward to this sale every year. The Anniversary Sale is different from all other sales because they bring out newly released fall items now at up to 50% off. This is the time that I get the girls their NorthFace jackets, Joe’s Jeans and Ugg boots. I also pick up a few things for myself like fab fall coast and boots. Here are my top picks from the sale. I probably won’t be able to get to the store until Sunday and will probably find more items that I love.
This summer I’m trying to get away from wearing black every time I step out. About 75% of my clothes are black. I’m doing my best to wear some color and patterns this summer. I think I’ve been doing a good job finding prints that work for me. It started with this floral peplum top and short I purchased early spring.

School is out for summer! I turned off my 6 am alarm with the quickness after I put Peyton on that bus on her last day. Now we’re just waiting on this rainy season in Georgia to pass so we can have some fun in the sun. My girls are very active so they love nothing more than to play at the park or head to the pool. While summer break is a time for Harper to play hard, I also need to stay on top of her baby skin care routine. Warm weather brings on a whole new set of risks for Harper’s skin. Exposure to sunrays, bug bites, and extra baths. Dove has always supported women with great skincare products so I was excited about the launch of their Baby Dove collection last year. Harper’s baby skin still needs extra care, especially in the summer.
