I just returned home from a family trip that I never imagined I would be taking. If you follow me on Instagram or SnapChat you saw that we went camping. I’m so blessed that my family got to have this experience. Before I get into details of our RV trip, I wanted to share with you how I prepared. I’m from Chicago originally, a big city and I don’t know the first thing about camping. With the help of Pinterest and some major planning, I pulled off this amazing summer trip with Go RVing.
This time last week we were laying on the beach playing in the sand. Back to reality. Peyton headed back to school today eager to share her Jekyll Island spring break details with her friends. I don’t blame her. It felt good to get away from the hustle and bustle for a few days with the family. I thought I would share more details from our trip and stay at the Jekyll Island Club in case you are looking for a quick family getaway.

It’s hard to believe that Christmas is just days away! I’m planning on having a low-key holiday. I say “planning” loosely because I’m sure something is going to come up. We’re usually traveling during the holidays but this year we will be home. I’ve done my fair share of family travel this year so I like I’m a bit of an expert. I’ve partnered with Luggage Online to share some family travel tips before you hit the road.
I can’t stop talking about our recent family vacation aboard the Disney Dream Cruise. This was our first cruise and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect prior to boarding. Before our arrival, I was told by veteran cruisers that Disney Cruise Lines were the best. They were right! Not only was our Disney Cruise special for Peyton and Harper, it was one of the best vacations of my life. I’ve got a million reasons why you should take a Disney cruise, today I am sharing 21 of those reasons with you.

Summer is coming to a close and if you’re like me, you’re trying to get in one last family trip. I just returned from our end of the summer trip. Packing can be a bit chaotic but the family memories are well worth the struggle. Now that Peyton is a big girl with frequent flyer status, she carries her on bag. While it‘s fresh on my brain I thought I would share what Peyton carries in her travel bag.
