I’m back with my second #OrganizedonFleek challenge! Last week I tackled my pantry HERE and this week I’m taking you under my sink. I’ve found that organizing and decluttering work best when you break them down into small tasks. Under my kitchen sink was a hot mess filled with cleaners that I never use or even empty bottles. Watch the video below to see how I got it together and learn how you can participate in the Organized on Fleek Challenge to win a gift card to one of our favorite stores.
Have you ever heard (from your elders) that you should not enter the New Year with a dirty house? Something about if you start that way, it will be that way all year. I’m happy that I’m not superstitious because my house was a mess when the clock struck 12. So to get my home together (and yours) I’ve partnered with my two favorite bloggers Danielle from The Style and Beauty Doctor and Mimi from Unlikely Martha for a home organization challenge! Each of us will be tackling spaces and getting organized throughout our homes and sharing it on our blog and social media pages. We also want you to join in on #OrganizedOnFleek challenge as well! Keep reading to check out my first organization challenge, my pantry and learn how you can participate in the #OrganizedonFleek challenge!
I’m so excited to share this product that will help all my naturalista minis and mommies. To this day I still get emails asking how to grow out bald spots on babies and toddlers. Bald spots are usually due to babies rubbing out their hair because they spend a lot of time on their back. Just like us women, the texture of our hair against cotton is not a good mix. It can cause bald spots and breakage. A friend told me before I had Peyton that I needed to make sure she kept silk or satin behind her head. Where do I find that? I stole a few of Mister’s silk pocket squares and used that for Peyton when she was a baby. It wasn’t cute but it helped. When I had Harper, our friends from MM Blankies sent us one of their fabulous satin blankets that she could lay on and be wrapped in. I’m happy to share with you MM Blankies newest genius product, designer satin pillowcases.
It’s not even Thanksgiving yet and I already have some major Christmas spirit. For the record, I did do a fall porch (here), I just forgot to share on the blog. I’m excited to decorate get my home ready for Christmas. Previous years, we were the family that would pick up a Christmas tree the weekend before and spend $10 on a real tree. I really want my girls to experience all the joy they possibly can during the holiday season. After rolling up on the Dollar Spot at Target, they had so many cute holiday items I was convinced that I could pull off a holiday table on a budget. My dining room is still a blank canvas but I have a beautiful big table just waiting for some holiday love. With items from Dollar Tree, Dollar Spot (Target) and Hobby Lobby, I put together this beautiful table.
It’s not often that Peyton’s room is photo worthy but once my items from Mouse + Magpie arrived, I was motived to bring her room back to life. Mouse + Magpie is a carefully curated decor and furnishing company for kids with big imaginations. Mouse + Magpie collections consist of artwork, throw pillows, lamps, clocks and sherpa blankets. Peyton has a big personality and the only thing that is bigger than her personality is her imagination. Peyton sees everything as an adventure ready to explore. I’m happy that her room now reflects her big imagination and encourages her to dream big. Mouse + Magpie has been so kind to allow me to give away a few items to one lucky reader. Keep reading for giveaway details and more photos of Peyton’s room update.
