My favorite season has officially begun. Fall is my favorite fashion season of the year. I love hats, coats, jeans, and sweats and I’m hoping to break them out soon! If you haven’t noticed, Harper’s was on a temporary probation from outfit posts on the blog. She had gotten to the point where she refused to take photos unless she was playing with something. Instead of fighting with her, I just let her be and gave her a break. Now she’s back with a new attitude and new poses. Check out Harper in her first fall look of the season.
September is baby safety month and this week is National Child Passenger Safety Week. I partnered with Chicco and had the opportunity to ask Dr. Benjamin Hoffman, nationally-recognized car seat safety expert and unpaid child passenger safety consultant for Chicco USA, my own questions about car seats. Keep reading to find out when you really should turn your child’s car seat forward. If you’ve checked out these deals and got yourself a new car, you need to learn the importance of car seat safety. If you are looking to buy a new car then you may want to search for a model online, perhaps you would like to buy a Chevy Tahoe, you could purchase one of those models online at Chevy Tahoe Dealers. It has plenty of room to fit a new car seat in!
September has a been a month of celebrating. We kicked off the month celebrating my mom’s 80th birthday in Chicago. She had a huge party of over a hundred guests. It was wonderful to see everyone come out to celebrate her. I also arranged for her first photo shoot to capture some beautiful photos of her and the girls.
After two full seasons of competitive gymnastics and placing top in the state for her level, Peyton has decided to take a timeout. It’s a decision that we let her make. We put Peyton in gymnastics because I noticed she had a natural ability. I was right. She was invited to try out for the team at 5 years old. She not only made the team but was bumped up 2 more levels. She would place first, 2nd or 3rd at all the competitions. She was doing great. So let me tell you why we decided to take a timeout.
My baby girl is 3 years old! Every year I say I’m not going to have a party at my house… what do I do for the 3rd year in a row, have a party at my house. Technically this was the after party. We took the kids to an indoor play center to run like crazy and then we came back to the house to eat and celebrate. I know, it’s a little bootleg but I was last minute putting this party together and I saved a ton of money. Harper is a music lover and she loves when mommy is rapping. I thought this theme would be perfect for her. I wanted to put a girly twist on the Hip Hop theme. My party planner, Swanky Rose set everything up while we were at the play center.
